Super B popcorn recipe


  • 3 handfuls corn seeds
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup sugar


1 Heat wok on high heat and add cooking oil when wok is hot. Add corn seeds and ensure that cooking oil covers all corn seeds. Stir fry corn seeds for a while and cover wok.

2 Lower to medium heat and allow corn seeds to pop until popping sound stops. Remove popcorn from wok.

3 Add sugar into wok and caramelize over low heat. Do not use metal spatula to stir sugar. When sugar has melted and browned, add butter.

4 Immediately add popcorn into wok and stir until popcorn is evenly coated with sugar and butter.



  • Do not use butter to pop popcorn as it can easily burn at high temperatures.
